This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop, and a far cry from the pretentious, hipster shops that have cropped up in recent years. There's a woman that's always there, I assume she's THE Elva, and she is fantastic. Warm and friendly, she's quick with the drinks and makes sure you're enjoying them.
I've had the Mexican mocha, both hot and blended, and it is amazing. I've also purchased the dark roast whole beans for home use and those are also fantastic. And on the weekends, she serves menudo. Piping hot, with just the right amount of spice, and my favorite hang over cure. Be sure to get it on Saturday though, as she makes a batch for the weekend and it has been sold out before Sunday.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. The place was clean and not crowded. The coffee was good and the burrito was big for the small price.
The roll was a little old and tasted hard. Everything else was good. Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees.
